Red Arrows a have a long-standing history with Citizen watches and over the years Citizen have produced some spectacular watches for the iconic Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team. Some of the watches have been simpler in design and then some are more of this ilk. The new Skyhawk; limited edition of 9999 timepieces has all the gadgets that are key to an air force pilot in jaw-dropping styling.

Configured in the Red Arrow colours of red, white and black the turbine inspired case is made from stainless-steel with a chunky look. Black ion-plating throughout the case and bracelet add a dark grey effect to the steel which complements the dial and red features.

The red is used to highlight particular features of the case whilst the white pops against the mainly black backdrop for readability; key for any pilot at a glance. A pilot slide rule bezel adds a hearty feature to the case and we love the attention to detail that has gone into finishing the push-buttons and crown on the side of the watch head.

The Promaster comes from Citizen’s Skyhawk A-T collection and boasts many tools built into the powerful Eco-Drive system. A movement with a small radio signal can pick up the atomic frequency to set itself to the correct time zone from a staggering 43 different cities. This techy piece also has the added tools of a perpetual calendar, alarms, countdown timer, stopwatch, power reserve and UTC display with backlighting.
